Last month Jay Thompson set out to break the Guiness Book of World Records for the most blog comments in a 24 hour period

Hercules

When I met him in person yesterday he was still a mere shell of his former self (just kidding!) as a result of that herculean effort!

Today Suzanne and I, armed with two digital cameras, are setting out to take as many photos as we can around the Valley of the Sun - including some after dark shots - to really pump up the photo count for the Phoenix metro area on Localism.

I don't know if we'll reach the 428 mark that Jay did for his comments - and we certainly aren't going to pull a 24 hour photo shoot!

Storm Surge

Hopefully many of our fellow Active Rainers will be making a similar effort in their locations.  I've seen some blog comments that lead me to believe there will be a storm surge of photos from all over the country this weekend!

What we will accomplish is another step toward prepping the Phoenix Metro area for the launching of Localism.

Slam Dunk

If the success of Active Rain is anything to go by - Localism is going to be a slam dunk!
