Advice For Buyers - Know Your Credit Limit

So, it's time to buy a house.

The very first step should be to contact a reputable and reliable lender for pre-qualification / pre-approval - and no - the terms are not interchangeable.  (If you need a referral for a reputable and reliable lender in the Greater Phoenix and Scottsdale Metro Area - contact us.)

Why?

Because you need to know your "Credit Limit".

How much "house" can you afford?

Just as you would not head out to purchase any other "big ticket" item on a credit card without knowing what credit you have available, buying a house is an extremely large "big ticket" item.

Once you have completed that, your next move is to contact a reputable and reliable Real Estate Broker to help you with your purchase.

Hint: If an agent will take you home shopping without knowing what price you qualify for - you may want to re-think your choice of agent.
