A timely topic from Amy Jones. I'm leaving comments open on this re-blog, and suggesting it for a feature to get as much input as possible.
I need some help from my tech savvy colleagues. Has anyone out there moved from PC to Mac and never looked back. OR have you made the move and are still in therapy to get over it?
Yesterday, my post "I'm Divorcing Mr. Laptop" asked if anyone had luck with the tablet PCs and I was surprised that most of the replies extolled the virtues of a Mac over a PC. REALLY?
I know Macs are reliable and oh-so-cool. BUT do they work for real estate? Are they compatible with all the things real estate agents do? Zipforms, MLS, blahdyblahblah?
As a hyper-busy REALTOR, I'm really terrified that the progams I use will no longer function and the docs I've created will be unusable. Not to mention the time and frustration that will come from something not working. I'm not too worried about the learning curve...just worried about functionality really.
I'm obviously nervous about a PC-ectomy and really looking for some anti-rejection advice. Can anyone help?
