You gotta luvit!

OK - So I was on a site (nope) don't remember which one  - which offered the option to enlarge and reduce the font size while I was reading the pages.  Of course - the enlarged text stayed with me as I moved on to other sites.  Not wanting to tamper with the "registry", I decided to install IE 7.0 in the hopes that it would fix the issue (even though Advanced Access wasn't compatible with IE7.0 last time I checked for editing websites).  The font size issue did indeed right itself.

Now however - when pushed for a CMA for a client selling a custom home plus acreage - I find that the Tax Records are not responsive to 7.0!!

Oh my - time to dive off to another PC - sometimes you just gotta luvit!

I'm finding some "gottaluvits" too Tony... and only installed IE7 on one machine for that very reason.  I learned about  being an "early adapter" of Microsoft products a long time ago.  So far, with Firefox on both machines, and IE7 on only one, I'm still able to get it all done.  Hadn't noticed  Advanced Access problems, but  I use the other machine for that.  And our MLS warned us not to update until the next version of their software came out (there has to be a clue in that, don't ya think?)

Thanks for the new thought though... now, when I hit an IE7 snag, I'll hear that little AOL guy in my mind say

You've got aluvit!

I guess no one ever told you not to upgrade to 7.0. I'm to late.

Our MLS in Honolulu has sent out many notices telling us not to upgrade to IE 7.0.

Apparently wihile online the other day the update downloaded on my computer.  I found out when I tried to shut down.  It started to install and said do not shutdown or pull power, Windows will turn off automatically when finished.  the next morning it was still frozen in the same place.  About a year ago something similar happened to another of my machines.  I guess I have to reinstall it all again,

THANK YOU MICROSOFT!

Stick with Firefox. It's far superior to any flavor of IE.  With the IETab extension for FireFox, you can run "IE Only" sites (like ARMLS) in Firefox.
