Ain't That The Truth!

A question in the Q&A from Ronald Gombach sparked this post.

The following leapt out at me from the post he linked to:

Heaven’s Got A Plan For You: The Future of Organized Real Estate, Part 1

"...the assumption is that incompetence is limited to part-timers. That assumption seems to make sense at first glance, but it simply isn’t correct. Some of the worst offenders are top producers with business practices that would make a used car salesman blanch with embarrassment."

Ain't that the truth!

IT SURE IS Tony and Suzanne Marriott, Associate Brokers . In my area some of the worst offenders are the big names. I often think they are too busy to be handle all aspects, they work of ratios and if you are in, then you may get a call back. But if you are in the acceptable loss, dont hold your breathe for a call, email or answer

I feel that a lack of communication often causes small concerns, that could have been handled quickly, to become exagerated and to eventually resemble, or actually become, serious transactional issues.  By lack of communication, I mean between real estate agent and buyer/seller or between agents.  I simply can't believe the number of unanswered calls that I make to other agents.

You know Tony Tony and Suzanne Marriott, Associate Brokers Many people equate real estate sales people with used car salesmen. And I don't think we compare favorably. If you want to be professionals, then be professional.

What else is there to say?

TRUE!  Part-timers mean nothing.  Some "full time" agents put nothing into their practice.  And some "full time" long-time agents are sloppy in their work.  I'm begrudgingly putting a complaint / concern together because a "full time" agent forged my client's signature on a document.  Tsk, tsk.  The bigger they are . . . ??
