How About A Health Insurance Plan for $150 Per Month For Two Adults??

How About A Health Insurance Plan for $150 Per Month For Two Adults??

Suzanne asked me that question over breakfast this morning.

Hmmmm I said - and what does that cover?

Essentially everything the Obamacare plans cover - without any co-pays or co-insurance or deductibles!

Really?!  Where can we get one (given between the two of us we're running at about $1,400 per month right now)?

The Province of British Columbia, Canada!

Hmmmm I said again - what about Ontario?

Perhaps  Susan Emo or Marc Swartz, CPA, CA, Real Estate Broker can answer that one...?

I never thought I would be happy turning 65, but as I did just before Obama Care became law, I'm very happy to be old and on Medicare!

Insurance is out of control. I was totally happy with my insurance before Obama Care. I was paying for catastrophic type of insurance with a high deductable and not much coverage but don't mind paying out of pocket for the occasional little things. After Obama Care my old plan is cancelled without choice and now I too have been paying about $1400 a month and it's going up in 2017 by over $400 to almost $1,900/mo. And car and home insurance are all going up.

I guess over $1200 a month it's pretty common place now but the affordable care act has saved me from my $800 a month healthcare Tony and Suzanne Marriott, Associate Brokers

The issue with that is I hear getting a doctor's appointment in Canada is a long term process.  Is that true?

Good morning Tony and Suzanne Marriott, Associate Brokers ,

Obama Care has been a dismal failure..its not an affordable health care for most..it has caused higher premiums, less coverage and often caused you to move from the doctor you loved to go to.

From what I understand James Dray , getting it to a primary care physician - no problem - appointments with specialists might take up to 4 weeks - probably varies from province to province... - thanks for stopping by with a comment!
